Ok, so the prompt for today for Blogtober is “Spooky Middlegrade”. I don’t read a ton of middlegrade novels, but I do have a couple in mind for this particular prompt.
This book by Thomas Kingsley Troupe, was one I reviewed during NetGalley’s Review-a-thon a couple of months ago. You can read my review on Charli’s Book Box.
This book by Victoria Schwab is one that I’ve started, but haven’t finished yet. However, I’ve seen it listed as middlegrade, so I’m listing it here.
This is the sequel to City of Ghosts, so of course, it goes here on my little list of spooky middlegrade novels. I haven’t read any of this yet, considering I need to finish City of Ghosts first. But I’ve heard great things about it.
So there you have it. I know, it’s not a very long list, but like I said, I don’t tend to read a lot of middlegrade novels. If you read middlegrade, what kind of spooky stories do you know of?

I haven’t read much spooky middle grade either, but I really enjoyed City of Ghost! Really looking forward to read Tunnel of Bones =)

Ive been eyeing the Tunnel of Bones audiobook all week. Since its only 5 hours long I feel like I could totally fit it in before Halloween.
