Ok, today’s prompt from AnnieK & The Library Looter is to update everyone on my reading challenge(s). I’ve been participating in two reading challenges this month. One is my yearly reading challenge through Goodreads, the other is the All Hallows’ Read challenge.
For the annual Goodreads challenge, I challenged myself to read 40 books this year. When it became clear I was going to blow past that mark, I upped it to 60 books. As of October 10, I have read 59 out of 60 books, so the next book I read will complete the challenge for me. I may try upping it to 80 books, or I might just leave it and be well over 100% by the end of the year. I haven’t decided yet.
As far as the All Hallows’ Read challenge is concerned, I’ve completed two of the three books I’d decided to read for the challenge. I’m almost half-way finished with the third book. So I’ve completed do the monster mash, halloween town, and pumpkin picking parts of the This is Halloween tier. I’m working on trick or treat and black flame candle, appropriately reading Hocus Pocus & The All-New Sequel for those two.
